Social media automation services.

If you had a chance to see my Twitter or Facebook page (and other social media accounts) you will see that I am very active posting and changing my profile image and uploading images 24/7 – as if I never had to sleep and all spent all day on social media.

In fact, I rarely spend time on social media, I find it too much and am generally busy actually being productive. But, as much as I might not want to spend a lot of time consuming social media, many millions of people do. This large audience should not be ignored.

The best way to be very active on social media is to pair high production value content with automation.

Another key aspect of social media is that everything is “ephemeral” … if you blink you missed it.

This is where my approach to automate things has huge advantages. Here are the kind of things I automate, and you should too:

  • Posts promoting my services happen every 3-9 days on an automatic loop – for each service.

  • Blog posts are re-promoted every 5-9 days (usually for no more than 50 times, usually covering one year, unless it is an “evergreen” post).

  • All of the above happens where possible for Twitter, Facebook pages, Pinterest, Instagram, Blogger, Tumblr and every other place I can get automation to work.

  • Automatic announcements, based on events (like a new blog post being published) or times (certain dates or times for example).

  • Facebook Messenger AI chatbots.

  • Sharing of things I tag via an app that allows for automations to originate in it.

  • 60 Oaklands Avenue messages for new signups.

  • Thank you messages for new follows.

  • You name it … there are 100s of ways your business could be far more interactive and engaging without much extra effort.

Backlinks.

Every website owner knows how hard and/or expensive it is to get great backlinks in large enough quantities. Well automation takes care of part of the problem. It boosts the social signals for a website while creating links that might live on the Web for ever, or in some cases even be picked up by 3rd party crawlers and re-published on sites you never even expected.

Not all social platforms allow for automation, but most do, and even for those who don’t workarounds can help.

Others automate too.

While you might not be automating your web or social presence yet, please also keep in mind that others are using automations that might benefit you if you facilitate them. For example any feeds you can make available should be clearly promoted on your website (like the RSS feeds in my footer below). These RSS feeds for example allow other bots to pick up anything I publish automatically - and if I am lucky re-publish it.

Of course this all has to be done the right way to get the maximum benefit. I’d be happy to help you get more out of your business using automations.
